Anyone can wet a floor. The difference between a clean surface and a rinsed surface shows up after the water leaves, and that is exactly where OSUKLEN PTE. LTD. places its attention. A wash that is not rinsed clear leaves detergent behind, and detergent residue attracts a fresh layer of soil within days. That cycle is what makes a building feel tired even when it is being cleaned every night.
Our crews are trained to think in stages. The first stage is preparation: moving what can be moved, protecting what must stay dry, and choosing a detergent that suits the surface rather than the easiest bottle on the shelf. The second stage is the wash itself, applied with enough dwell time for the chemistry to work. The third stage is the rinse, where clean water carries the loosened soil away instead of pushing it into a corner. The fourth stage is drying, and it is the stage most contractors skip. We squeegee, extract or air-move every washed area until it is genuinely dry, because a dry surface cannot grow the film that makes a space look neglected.
This approach carries a cost in time, and we are honest about it. A proper wash bay shift takes longer than a quick mop, and we price accordingly. What a client receives in return is a surface that stays clean for longer, a lower chemical load in the building, and a cleaning record that holds up when a facility manager or an auditor asks for it. For commercial and residential clients across Singapore, from Midview City out to the wider island, that trade is the whole point of hiring a specialist instead of a general hand.
Equipment we bring to site
Our vans carry pressure washers with adjustable nozzles, hot water extraction units for carpet and upholstery, wet and dry vacuums with HEPA filtration, microfibre systems colour-coded by zone, squeegees, floor machines and a full set of neutral and task-specific detergents. Nothing is improvised on site: the unit, the nozzle and the detergent are selected before the crew arrives, based on the survey of the premises.
- Pressure washing from a low rinse bar up to a controlled high bar for hard external surfaces.
- Hot water extraction for carpet, rugs, fabric chairs and partition panels.
- HEPA vacuums for post-renovation dust and for premises with sensitive occupants.
- Colour-coded microfibre so a washroom cloth never touches a pantry surface.
- Neutral floor detergents that protect sealant, vinyl, stone and timber finishes.
Surfaces are surveyed before we quote. We test a small area for colour fastness, sealant condition and water sensitivity, then set the method to the surface rather than forcing the surface to fit a fixed method.
